Family Night

Membership to PTA entitles you to two free family night events each year. This year we will have Family Movie Night and Science Night.

Founder’s Day

Founder’s Day is the celebration of the founding of the National PTA. PTAs all around the country celebrate by honoring volunteers and teachers who go above and beyond for the betterment of the school and its students.

Gopher Family Social

Sometimes you just gotta have some fun! Gomes PTA is proud to present annual family fun events such as the upcoming Gopher Family Social on September 7th. Come for food trucks, DJ and Karaoke, and meet other Gomes families!

This parent education series brings speakers from around the area to share knowledge with Gomes parents. Past Spotlight talks include “Fostering Independence in Your Child” and “Authentic Success: What matters? And what does not?”

National Teachers Appreciation Week is the first full week of May. At Gomes, we celebrate all of our Gomes staff with a week long event full of food and fun. But mostly food.

Science Fair is alternated every other year with the Young Author’s contest. The next Science Fair will be in the school year 2018-2019.

Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week is a national program to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse. The PTA helps to spread the word about staying safe by decorating the campus with red ribbons and holding an annual classroom poster contest.
